Troubleshooting the issue :
Step 1: Are you unable to access the Gmail app on your iPad? Uninstalling and reinstalling the Gmail application that you are using will resolve most of the issues. Tap and hold the application, then select ‘Delete’. Also you should download the latest version of the application and then reinstall it.
Step 2: Unable to access Gmail messages through the native Mail app in your iPad? From the Mail, Contacts, Calendars section of the Settings app, remove your account details and again add it back. This enables you to reset the connection.
Step 3: If you accessing Gmail using a browser on your iPad, then first of all check the internet connection properly. Then clear the cache and cookies browser from the browser app. Now again try to browse the application, this time your issue will be resolved.
